Summer is the season to enjoy the weather. Nice dinners, warm evenings and all doors and windows of the house open. These lovely days have only one disadvantage: insects. We all know them; the flying and buzzing creatures that spoil our dinners or sleep. But we have good news: our insect lamps will help you to get rid of mosquitoes, flies, moths and other flying insects.

Anti-insect lamp

How does an anti-insect lamp work?

An insect-lamp works on one or more fluorescent blacklight(s). The light emitted by these blacklights attracts flying insects. This is a UV light but is totally safe to use. Insects fly towards this UV light, into the fixture. Once that happens, the insect is electrified or captured by an adhesive strip, depending on the type of fixture. Anti-insect lamps with an adhesive strip are more used in areas that need extra hygiene, like restaurants and kitchens. All our fixtures are easy to clean, either because of the easy empty drawers or because of simple replacement of the adhesive strips.
