What are LED battens connect?
These are LED integrated battens with a sleek and simple appearance. They are known as connectable fixtures because they can be quickly and easily attached together, and therefore only need one connection to the power network. This can be done via the wiring of an existing light point and/or with a plug in socket, depending on the chosen fixture. Just keep in mind that each fixture has a maximum connectable number. For example, 10x for the Ledvance Compact Switch.
In what way are these LED battens connectable?
These LED battens can be connected in a maximum of two ways. For a tight light line without interruptions, each fixture has one end with a notch and one end with a connector (which fits into the notch mentioned earlier). Would you prefer to place the fixtures a bit further apart? You can also attach these battens together using a connecting cable.
How do you install these fixtures?
These fixtures are surface-mounted with a click system. First, you need to install the clamps on the ceiling or surface using the supplied mounting materials. These can be two or more clamps, depending on the length of the fixture; these range from 300 mm to 1500 mm. Once the clamps are in place, you click the LED battens into them.
Can LED battens connect be operated individually?
Yes, each individual fixture has a manual on/off button. This allows you to operate these LED battens accordingly, not only when they are installed separately, but also when they are linked together with several fixtures. It is therefore a sustainable lighting solution that only lights up where it is actually needed.
Where can they be used?
LED battens connect are very versatile due to the wide range in light output (400 to 2600 lumens) and the options in light colours: 3000K, 4000K and/or 6500K. This makes them useful as lighting under kitchen cabinets or at workbenches, and as cove lighting, but they can also provide basic lighting in, for example, storage rooms, warehouses, supermarkets and DIY shops.
