This smart mounting plate brings a faster, neater way to install recessed spotlights and downlights in suspended ceilings. Designed to absorb the spring pressure of the fixture, Plaat-O creates a sturdy, reliable mount without the need for backing wood or special tools, making it an efficient solution for installers working on both small and large-scale projects.
Fast & easy installation

Cut to size: Cut the Plaat-O to the correct diameter to match the hole in the suspended ceiling panel, using standard tools. It can be adjusted to fit spotlights ranging from 76 mm to 200 mm.

Place the spotlight: Insert the spotlight through the suspended ceiling panel together with the Plaat-O, positioning the plate neatly around the fixture.

Release the springs: Let go of the spotlight's mounting springs so they press against the Plaat-O. The plate absorbs this pressure, locking the fixture securely in place.
For extra strain relief, it is recommended to secure the cord with a cable tie once the spotlight is mounted. A full installation manual is available for step-by-step guidance.
