Ideal replacement for fluorescent tubes

Do you have a fluorescent tube in a fixture with starter at home? Then you have a conventional fluorescent tube. This LED tube will fit in your fixture, provided the length matches. By switching to LED lighting, you will save a lot of energy. There are three lengths available:

• 60 cm (9W instead of 18W)
• 120 cm (17.5W instead of 36W)
• 150 cm (22W instead of 58W)

Long lifespan

As well as being much more energy-efficient, these LED tubes have a lifespan of 50,000 hours which is much longer than the average fluorescent tube. They come complete with a 5-year all-in warranty.

Low maintenance costs

The long lifespan means low maintenance costs too. This is simply because you'll spend less time having to order new tubes, remove old ones and install new ones.

For conventional fixtures

These LED tubes (with starter) are suitable for conventional fixtures only. Your fixture is conventional if it has a starter (you may need to remove a tube to see it). If you switch from fluorescent to LED tubes, make sure you replace the old starter with the supplied LED starter. The advantage of this LED tube from Noxion is that you can also use the light source directly on mains power.

Narrower beam angles

Fluorescent tubes distribute light over 360º which means light is also directed upwards where it's not needed. These LED tubes, on the other hand, have narrower beam angles of 200º (120 & 150 cm tubes) and 160º (60 cm tube). This means light is only directed downwards and to the sides where it's needed most.

Flicker-free

Fluorescent tubes don't just flicker when they start up, they continue to flicker as long as they're switched on. It may not be noticeable for most people, but for some flickering can cause headaches and other health problems. Fortunately, LED tubes don't flicker.

Choice of colour temperatures

Different colour temperatures can be used to create different atmospheres in different spaces. These LED tubes are are available in the following colour temperatures:

• Warm white light (3000K) - suitable for areas like hallways, stairways and waiting rooms.
• Cool white light (4000K) - suitable for areas like offices and classrooms
• Daylight (6500K) - suitable for areas like laboratories and operating theatres
