The colour code is a combination of colour rendering (CRI) and light colour (Kelvin). The first number indicates the colour rendering (1 = very poor colour rendering, 9 = maximum colour fastness). The second and third number contains the light colour. Example: the colour code 830 consists of good colour rendering (8) and warm white light (3000K). |

Characteristics
The Osram Lumilux T8 are fluorescent lamps that provide more lumens per watt and a better colour rendering than the standard colours TL-D. Plus, their mercury level is low. The lamp can function in existing lighting fixture TL-D. They measure 59 cm and have a G13-type holder. The Osram T8 L 18W/880 Lumilux Skywhite have a light with a colour temperature of 8800K, which corresponds to a white light, very cold, almost blue. The colour-rendering index is by the way excellent, superior to 80Ra. Tubes are very energy saving: they are energy efficiency class A. In addition, lamps have a very long lifetime, 20000 hours on average!
