CoreLine SlimDownlight - DN135C from from Philips is an ultra-thin recessed fixture designed to replace downlights with conventional CFL bulbs with a wattage of 2x18W and 2x26W. Made in an aluminium housing with a polycarbonate optic material and a white finish, this fixture is easy to install thanks to its standard cut-out size and has an extremely small build-in depth. This fixture — available in warm white (3000K) and cool white (4000K) with a colour rendering index of 80 which ensures that colours are shown as true and natural — delivers a natural “surface of light” effect for use in general lighting applications, with a rating IP20 (protected against solid objects 12mm in diameter or greater and fingers or similar objects not exceeding 80 mm in length) and IK02 (protected against 0.2 joules impact).

Fitted with a non-dimmable power supply unit — CE marking and RoHS compliance with a safety class II according to the standard defined by the International Electrotechnical Commission — this fixture delivers instant energy savings and has a much longer lifetime of 50,000 hours (around 6 years uninterrupted) creating a real value-for-money and environmentally friendly solution.
