The Philips HID-PrimaVision Compact CDM Independent is a compact electronic HID ballast, that enables an optimal and reliable performance. These ballasts can be used with the Philips MASTERColour CDM bulbs and are equipped with an automatic re-ignition technology, which enables a continuous light. They have a very long lifetime of 40,000 hours, which can increase the life of your CDM bulb by up to 33%.

You must consider the number of bulbs and wattage in order to find the most appropriate HID ballast for your installation: 

• One CDM bulb: 35W, 50W, 70W, 100W, or 150W.
• Two CDM bulbs: 35W or 70W

Use

The Philips HID-PrimaVision Compact CDM Independent  can be used with accent and decorative lighting in places such as shops, public buildings and offices. These ballasts are not suitable for outdoor use. The 'Independent (I)' means that the ballast is suitable for ceiling installations. You should replace your ballast if it starts buzzing or making a humming noise.
